Grapho-therapy has been around for over a century. It is a way to re-train your brain. Done right before bedtime, you may find you even sleep better!
As Dr. Oz said years ago, “the need to please leads to heart disease.” There are multiple ways the need to please is revealed in handwriting, but for now try this light and easy grapho-therapy exercise to reduce tension and stress. Simply write connected figure 8’s repeatedly.
Feel free to write it however is most comfortable for you.
Doing this simple but powerful meditative “doodle” a few times every day can help relax your mind and be very soothing. This may be used with children who are hyperactive, too.
