Dr. Tanzi, Co-Director of the Washington Institute of Dermatologic Laser Surgery in Washington, DC, is an internationally recognized expert on cosmetic dermatology and skin laser surgery. She also serves as Assistant Professor in the Department of Dermatology at the Johns Hopkins Medical Center.

Dr. Tanzi graduated summa cum laude with honors in Biochemistry from Hartwick College in New York. She pursued her medical education at Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse where she graduated in the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society at the top of her class. Dr. Tanzi completed her dermatology residency at Columbia University, St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center in New York where she served as Chief Resident. Since leaving New York, Dr. Tanzi has treated the political and business elite of Washington, DC.

As a physician-scientist, Dr. Tanzi has published over 50 medical articles and chapters and has been involved with the development of several novel laser systems and therapeutic techniques that are now commonly used throughout the world.
