All week since my segment aired on The Dr. Oz Show I have heard such great feedback from viewers. Thank you for all your positivity! I am going to do my best to give you encouragement each week so that you too can be a Wellness Warrior of your own!

I need you to really want to make a change in your life. What is it that is going to get you to start? Is it going to be your doctor telling you that your cholesterol is too high? Is it that your pants are too tight? Are you too winded to take the dog for a walk? Are you willing to make sacrifices for your own path to feeling better?

So let's start there. What 3 things are you willing to stop eating? Cheese? Ice cream? Pizza? Those little yummy chocolate covered morsels that you can't eat just one of? Write down 3 things that you are going to completely stop eating. You will have none of them this year. None. Nada. Zilch! That's right, folks! NONE. With that awareness of eliminating 3 unhealthy things from your daily life, you will automatically become more aware of what you are putting in your body each day. In this process you will be changing your behavior one step at a time. That's what it takes! Baby steps.

All week since my segment aired, everyone's been asking me, "How did you do it?" I have to be very honest here with you. It takes a conscious effort.  It takes a time, commitment and hard work. It takes investing in yourself. And most of all, it takes loving yourself enough to want to do it! No one else but you can make you live differently. That's what it's all about - living differently. I don't like the word diet; I like the concept of living differently. Because it's not about a short term change and then you go back to eating those things you cut out. It's about an alternative way to live healthier. Forever. It takes divorcing your old self. It's not easy. But it is achievable. You ARE your own secret weapon. You are the "bomb!" You are the only person who has the capacity to embrace your own path of wellness. No one else is living in your body but you. You have to decide for yourself that there is a lot more living to do.

Are you going to be forever trapped in your body that prevents you from embracing this amazing beautiful world and all that it has to offer. Are you going break out of your old body and let the world see who you really are and live life to the fullest?
