I have been renewing my mind over the past week, trying to get refocused to get the rest of my weight off! I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. For 3 weeks straight I was so frustrated and felt like my wheels were spinning in mud because my weight wasn’t dropping like I had hoped it would. I could feel myself getting discouraged. I felt “fat,” and I put “fat” in quotations because I think it is all relative. I have the same pants on today that I wore 2 weeks ago when I was in my slump and they fit completely differently than they did 2 weeks ago. Two weeks ago I was pulling my shirt down and wore a jacket all day. Today I feel awesome. I feel fit. I feel strong and confident.
My point is, even though we may not see a move in the scale from week to week or a size down in my pants this week, I can tell you that I have seen a change in me! I know that emotionally and mentally I am fixing myself so that I do not deviate from my plan due to frustration. I have stayed consistent and persistent, and this week I am down another 5 pounds for a total of 70 pounds!
My tip for you this week is when you’re having a frustrating week with food or weight loss – READ! Starting working on a healthier mind just like you’re working on a healthier body to make a new Healthier YOU!
