Just 10 Finale

It’s here. The holiday season. Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, New Year’s. And with each, enough meals, snacks, food gifts, hors d’oeuvres, parties, drinks, and good cheer to choke a blue whale. So what does the Just 10 devotee do? Do YOU. That’s right, stick to your guns, not to your gut! Toast with soda water and a slice of lime. Pass on passed appetizers. Give finger food the finger. The wagging ‘No’ index finger that is. Hey, it is the holidays - straighten up!

This year, you made your resolution 3-plus months before the rest of Santa’s elves. And now you need to be resolute in sticking to it. Remember what you are doing; if you are 10 pounds lighter, shoot for maybe 10 more, or just stay at your new weight. Either way, this year, the holidays are really about giving and not receiving. Giving yourself the health and body you deserve and you have been working on. Not receiving the extra pounds that so many of us do. You have full permission to re-gift any food item you receive!

Your Just 10 program is a jump off. It’s a starting point. Whether you started a couple of months ago, a couple of weeks ago, or you’re going to start in a couple of minutes, this is a gift to yourself that will keep on giving to everyone else in your life. And you get to open it every single day. No thank you cards needed. Just 10, is just right, and it’s RIGHT NOW!

Happy Holidays and congratulations! You’ve done a really good thing for the long term.
