I bet you didn’t know that even Dr. Oz’s Wellness Warriors can have bad days, stressful times and even unhappy moments! As my life continues to change as a result of my weight loss, body transformation and my whole new outlook on life, it also brings with it new and different life challenges. Over the last couple of years, I’ve lost some major things in my life, had my heart broken, faced some big challenges and had to face some of these things head-on, even in this present moment.
My key to surviving these things is to stay focused on me, my health and exercise. When life comes down on you, it is more important than ever to put yourself first. Many people don’t do this – and it leads to weight gain, depression and even isolation.
I’ve learned to put myself first, look on the bright side of things and dance my own dance. Some people love this about me others do not, but I’m finding my own way in life despite life’s many challenges. Through it all I am able to maintain my weight and healthy lifestyle.
I bet you didn’t know that sometimes even I cry, have a bad day, wish I could change things, miss my dog, and my old house. But, most importantly, I get through it all because of my healthy lifestyle and positive attitude.
Once again, thank you Dr. Oz! You have transformed me through and through. I hope many others will follow in my foot steps and put themselves first because they rock!
