When I was stuck in my rut, I can’t tell you how many times I said, “I’ll start my diet on Monday!” It never worked! Following Dr. Oz’s plan is a lifestyle change, not a diet, which is why it works so well for me. Losing the weight was only the first step of my new journey of constant change. I no longer “wait” or set a date to do something if I want it I go for it.
If you live in the present moment with no worries or fear and trust that you’ll be shown the way, you’ll find that you have the power to do whatever it is you want. You can lose weight, get healthy, stop smoking, find the right relationship, or find something you love to do and make it your job! Leave the past in the past, set some goals or dreams for yourself in the future, take action towards them now to make them come true!
I am an average American woman making my dreams come true, one by one, day by day. I made a list of my goals and dreams which I keep in my purse. I read them every morning as soon as I wake up and again before I go to bed. This helps me focus on them and not lose sight of what I really want, even while everyday stuff tries to get in the way!
Remember this is your life! Others will judge you; others can make you feel like a victim, but so what! Take charge of your life. You don’t need anyone’s approval or opinions to live the life you want! Make those positive changes and like I always say – little changes add up to big changes!
Many of you ask me, “Jennifer, how come you are always so happy?” The answer is simple: because I choose to be! It certainly does not mean my life is perfect. I’ve gone through some really tough stuff! But it’s all about how you react to the situation that counts! Surround yourself with people you admire, positive, happy, supportive people. This is so important. We are mirror images of what we see in others – that statement alone may make you make that change!
What are you waiting for? Make your dreams and goals your reality and start today. Just do it!
