Congratulations to Dr. Oz on his 100th show!! Since he has helped so many people, this is probably one of many milestones that the show will reach. For this special blog post, I would like to discuss better health and nutrition. Top tips that I would recommend include making a lifestyle modification instead of making temporary changes. This promotes that the changes will stick and also makes it easier to achieve your goal whether it is weight loss, good nutrition, or good health.
Second, I would recommend a routine that includes less caloric intake and exercise. From personal experience, I find that the combination is more successful and sustainable.
Third, eating out should be done less frequently. Taking control of your food can be a way of reducing portion size, decreasing calories, and reducing cholesterol. A poor diet does contribute to risk for cancers, including breast cancer. Current recommendations include eating lower fat and cholesterol foods, increasing fruits and vegetables in one’s diet, avoiding regular alcohol intake, and if consuming soy, one should take it in foods such as tofu, soybeans or soy milk.
