Soda Challenge | Day 17 | October 10 | Sunday

Yes got up frequently to pee last night ... shouldn't have coffee after 7 p.m. Got up early to do cardio, then an early meeting with the famous developer Al Ratner and new dynamic Clevelander Oscar Villareal about the future of Cleveland. Both are big supporters, but Cleveland has gone from 20% immigrants in 1960 to 5.7% now, while USA has gone from 8.7% to 12%. We need to favor immigration more ... all the Northeast does ... or we will not be a dynamic city as it is the innovation and population growth immigrants bring that stimulates economic growth. Anybody want to immigrate here? Cleveland is a low-cost city with great civic structures, increased higher education (even if the Brownies aren't doing well), the Orchestra, the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of fame, great medical care, and even an improving school system. That, plus the Brown's game, column writing, press for our new book, YOU: Raising Your Child, and preparing budgets for my Institute at the Clinic have kept coffee flowing and no need or even time for thoughts of soda today.
