Soda Challenge | Day 30 | October 23 | Saturday

Steps: 14,043. Breakfast: after my cardio exercise (48 minutes at average heart rate of 144, max today was 173) I didn’t do weight work because I had to run out to give lecture at Twinsburg, Ohio (yes, it is where the annual Twin Festival is held). The gym was converted there to a health fair with a lot of testing by Cleveland Clinic nurses.) Problem I noticed: water and soft drinks available, but no coffee. I almost fell asleep during my own talk (I’d say only kidding but the truest things are said with jest).

Steps: 14,043.
Breakfast: after my cardio exercise (48 minutes at average heart rate of 144, max today was 173) I didn’t do weight work because I had to run out to give lecture at Twinsburg, Ohio (yes, it is where the annual Twin Festival is held). Lunch: none. Another bad.
Snack: coffee during healthradio.net show instead of soft drinks ... only problem is I have to pee more often after coffee,

Big Problem: While carrying coffee and my computer, coffee started to spill so I grabbed it. The computer flew out of my hand and I killed the Dell (I love Dell) hard drive. Spent next 20 minutes trying to boot up with no luck. Hope I can find a computer guy on Sunday… ran back to get my Apple (use it only for iChat usually). I am almost paralyzed without a computer. Uh-oh. No more of even these blogs!

Dinner: ate large portions of healthy veggies, quinoa, grilled shiitake mushrooms, grouper with great champagne (Oprah had given us several years before) at a friend’s. Also had a large – super large – great mixed veggie salad, used a few avocado slices as the dressing.

Kitchen closed (save to water) at 9:00 p.m.
