Woke up at 8 a.m. to exercise – cardio and weights, but it did take coffee to get me to propel myself. Rewound and relooked at the Bed Bug show of Dr. Oz – sensational show. Coffee also got me through my weight lifting (every Saturday, Tuesday and Thursday), and prep for a radio show on healthradio.net (live 5 to 7 p.m. on Saturdays). This week’s features Elizabeth Cohen's new paperback called The Empowered Patient, plus what to tell your daughter when it comes to tongue piercing, weight loss, insecticides and liposuction. Normally I get my energy up for the show with several diet sodas – even switched to a brand with more caffeine for these, but coffee seemed to work just as well. Went to a dinner party afterwards (Nancy, my wife is away) – got invited to 2 and accepted 2 by mistake! I am lousy at calendar keeping, which is good for these blogs. I had to eat at one in a hurry to keep 8:30 rule; luckily could drink my red wine and coffee after the deadline (I did modify the rule for red wine) ... I've got to stop these dinners if I am going to keep getting my columns in on time and drop 10 pounds. Or I need more coffee for later.
