Week 4: Finding Success

Week 4 | Jessica: I can’t believe this, but I actually had an orgasm from intercourse the other night! I am so excited. Now I know it is possible for me to have one this way. My husband was pretty happy for me. Following the Orgasmic Diet and doing the kegel exercises with the gyneflex and kegelmaster is still very easy to follow. I expect to eat this way for life, especially since I know I have made lots of progress already. I can only imagine what the future will bring as I continue this diet. I am so very happy that I got this opportunity to be on The Dr. Oz Show and meet Marrena Lindberg, author of The Orgasmic Diet. It makes me sad to think how I might have just excepted the fact that I would probably never be able to have orgasms and not to expect anything more. I know now that I would have been missing out on a great experience and satisfyingn love-making with my husband. Best of luck to all you other women who may have this same problem as I. I strongly suggest you try this diet plan. It has definitely been worth it for me!

Week 4 | Nikki:
I am out of fish oil, over 4 weeks into this diet, and still, no fireworks! There’s so much going on right now with work, family and a loved one in constant pain that I probably just cannot relax and ease my mind in order to enjoy the moment. The diet just isn’t working for me. Perhaps under better circumstances, it may indeed work. 

The diet isn’t a total failure. I’ve made a few needed lifestyle changes. I’ve never taken fish oil before, so I will continue to do so...just in a smaller amount. I haven’t been consistent with taking multivitamins daily, so now I carry a pill box to help me remember and stay organized.  At first, I felt very mature carrying around a pill box filled with 10 vitamins, but now it has become a conversation piece. Everybody wants to know what fat-burners or weight-loss vitamins I am taking in order to remain so skinny. If only they knew, it‘s a genetic curse! I’ve noticed that my nails are much stronger. I’ve always had paper thin nails, and nothing seemed to strengthen them before. Is it the added vitamins or just plain old consistency? Hmm...I wonder. Although I continue to dread getting up in the morning, and I cannot stay up as late as I used to, I jump around like an energizer bunny in my Zumba classes because I have the added energy to do so. I really enjoy Zumba, so this in an added bonus!

Overall, this entire experience has been interesting. I met 2 women with the same issue as me, and I found comfort in speaking openly with them. I’ve often heard that there are others like me, but it’s nothing like actually meeting someone and sharing your problems and concerns. I wish them the best of luck as we continue on our journey to 10-second orgasms!
