I am 28 lbs down and things have been moving along rather smoothly for the last 90 days. I’m making healthy food choices, walking at least 3 times a week during my lunch break with my girlfriend, weight training 3 times a week, and getting those 10, 000 steps in daily. Committing to changing your lifestyle seems easy enough right? NOT!
There are days that I am exhausted and exercising seems like another dreaded task. After a long day sometimes I just want to relax on the couch and do nothing, absolutely nothing. Then that newly developed healthy conscience kicks in overtime! I realize that these lazy moments are what contributed to my initial weight gain and I am reminded that I do not want to go back to being that person. So after a quick kick in the butt, a power-boosting snack and a reality check, I am up off the couch and moving.
Here comes the next obstacle: Old Man Winter. He brings quite a few “keep it moving” challenges but I am readily equipped to overcome them creatively the following ways:
