When it comes to your weight, it gets a bit more complicated than simply labeling yourself overweight or obese. Overfat, a term coined by Dr. Mark Hyman, director of Cleveland Clinic's Center for Functional Medicine and author of "Eat Fat, Get Thin", is much more specific to your health than just a number on the scale. As Dr. Hyman explains, you can be overfat but not overweight or obese and you can be overweight or obese but super lean since your BMI doesn't take body fat into account.
