Start your day with a dose of healthy monounsaturated fats and protein with a baked egg in an avocado. It's one of Dr. Oz's favorite ways to enjoy avocado in the morning.
- 1 medium or large avocado
- 2 small eggs
1. Preheat oven to 450°F.
2. Cut avocado in half and carefully remove the pit from the center.
3. Crack one egg at a time into a bowl and slide each egg into the hole left by the pit in each avocado half.
4. Place on baking sheet and bake at 450°F for 10-12 minutes.
