Berries With Asti Sauce

Makes 12 servings (Serving size: 1 cup)

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup asti
  • 6 cups fresh strawberries, washed and cut in half
  • 6 cups fresh blueberries, washed

Directions

To make sauce: In small pot combine sugar and asti, bring to a simmer and reduce by half to a thin syrup consistency. Remove, place in small bowl and refrigerate until cold.

Place blueberries and strawberries in a bowl and toss with sauce. Serve in bowl, glass stemware or as desired.

For individual servings, use 1 teaspoon sauce to 1/2 cup blueberries and 1/2 cup strawberries.
