B and B Protein Shake

Blueberries and refried beans are the building blocks of this shake. Both are good sources of dietary fiber and are high in vitamin C. These properties are complemented by the fruity taste of the blueberries and calcium added by the milk.   

Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup fat-free refried beans
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 scoop whey protein powder

Directions

Blend ingredients until smooth.

Makes 2 cups.
