Basil not only tastes great, but it gives your system necessary nutrients such as vitamin K and vitamin A. Pecans are rich in dietary fiber, which helps your digestive system. So together, basil and pecan make one super-healthy and delicious smoothie!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cup kefir or milk
  • 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, plain
  • 1/4 cup pecans
  • 1/2 cup basil leaves

Directions

Blend ingredients until smooth. Add 1 tbsp of maple syrup if you want to make the shake sweeter. 

Yields 2 cups.
