Basil Walnut Strawberry Shake

This shake is packed with tons of beneficial nutrients: Walnuts have a lot of protein, kefir boosts probiotic intake, and strawberries contain a lot of antioxidants. Blend this smoothie together for a quick, on-the-go breakfast to reap the health benefits throughout the day.  

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups kefir
  • 1/2 cup strawberries
  • 1/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • 1/2 cup parsley

Directions

Blend ingredients until smooth. Add 1 tbsp of maple syrup if you like a sweeter shake. 

Yields 2 cups.
