Broccoli and Leek Soup

Take the strain off an overstressed digestive system, and infuse your body with the liquid vitamins of the phytonutrient-rich cruciferous broccoli, the fertility-boosting healthy fats of avocado, and the mild flavors of leek without feeling deprived. This soup is every bit as creamy and delicious as it is nutritious.  

Ingredients

  • 1 head broccoli, chopped into chunks
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 3 medium leeks, chopped
  • 1 avocado, peeled and pitted
  • 1 tbsp tamari
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice

Directions

Place the ingredients in a blender and blend.

 

Pour into a bowl and top with a few small pieces of broccoli and a leek stalk.
