Apple Banana Smoothie

Looking for a quick morning meal? A smoothie is one of the easiest options you can whip up. Simply blend fruit, nuts, and seeds with a yogurt base, and you're ready to go. It's a filling breakfast for your busy day ahead! 

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Granny Smith apple, chopped
  • 1/2 banana, sliced
  • 3/4 cup plain 2-percent Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 5 walnuts
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup water

Directions

1. Purée all ingredients in a blender until smooth.

 

2. Pour into a glass and garnish with additional cinnamon powder if desired.
