Ellie Krieger's Start-Right Smoothie

Makes 2 (2 1/2 cup) servings


  • 1 ripe banana, peeled, cut into chunks, frozen
  • 6 medium strawberries, hulled fresh or thawed frozen
  • 2 cups non-fat milk
  • 1 cup ice water
  • 1/4 cup unsalted almonds
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract


Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and blend on high until smooth.
