This old-fashioned warming sauce will teach you to retrain your taste buds to love the natural taste of meat. Its simplicity enhances the flavor of meat without excess sugar. The vinegar will bring out the meatiness and the drop of honey will give it a touch of sweetness.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard powder
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • honey

Directions

1. Put the mustard, balsamic vinegar, and a drop of honey into an oven-proof pot. Mix well. 

2. Cook the sauce in the oven for 3 hours at 290°
