Actor James Van Der Beek and his wife, Kimberly, a natural lifestyle blogger, use this banana cream recipe as a way to sneak vitamin-rich foods into their kids' diets.

Ingredients

  • 2 large bananas
  • 1/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 pinch sea salt
  • 1 cacao nibs, goji berries, coconut flakes or salted pistachios for garnish

Directions

Cut bananas and place them on a cookie sheet. Freeze.

 

Blend the frozen bananas and almond milk (add more if needed). Spoon into bowls. Top with sea salt and garnish with cacao nibs, goji berries, coconut flakes or salted pistachios.
