Dig into a bowl of creamy vitamin C goodness with this smoothie bowl recipe. Thicker than its drink counterpart, a smoothie bowl allows you to enjoy the cool texture of smoothies with the added benefit of healthy and tasty toppings. This mango-and berry-packed recipe calls for blueberries, ground strawberries, and chopped almonds on top, but you can also choose other garnishes like shaved coconut or flax seeds.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup mango chunks
  • 1/2 cup raspberries
  • 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • blueberries (optional)
  • strawberries, ground (optional)
  • chopped almonds (optional)

Directions

1. In a blender, process the mango chunks, raspberries, cottage cheese, milk, banana, and ice cubes until smooth and creamy.

 
2. Top with blueberries,  ground strawberries, and chopped almonds and serve.
