Shake things up and toast to your health with these nutrient-filled mocktails! Each vibrant mock cocktail is full of healthy juices and packed with delicious taste.
- 2 large leaves of basil
- 1 1/4 oz of beet juice
- 1 1/2 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz apple juice
- 3 oz tangerine
- Pinch of mint
- 1 oz agave syrup
- 2 oz rosemary grapefruit juice
- 2 oz jasmine/green tea
- 2 oz black tea
- 2 oz seltzer
- 4 oz sugar snap pea juice
- 1 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz star anise-infused agave syrup
- 1/4 oz lemon-lime-infused agave syrup
- Seltzer water
This drink is rich with health benefits. The basil has magnesium, which lowers your blood pressure. The tangerine is full of vitamin C. The pineapple juice contains bromelain, a protein-digesting enzyme that reduces inflammation. The apple juice can improve lung function. Additionally, the beets provide powerful antioxidant protection thanks to a vital nutrient called betacyanin.
Muddle basil; add ice and all the juices. Shake vigorously and pour over ice or in a martini glass. Garnish with fresh basil.
Alcohol option:1 1/2 oz vodka, which is less than the 2 oz standard, does not interfere with the flavors of the juices and has less calories.
Add all ingredients(mint, agrave syrup, rosemary grapefruit juice, jasmine/green tea, black tea,except seltzer) over ice into mixing glass. Shake vigorously and pour into tea glass with the seltzer. Garnish with mint sprig and grapefruit wedge.
Sugar Snap Pea
Pour ingredients ( sugar snap pea juice, lemon juice, star anise-infused agave syrup, lemon-lime-infused agace syrup and seltzer) into shaker; shake, strain, pour in highball glass with ice. Garnish with a fresh lavender stem.
