No-Bake Energy Balls

Just because you have a busy schedule doesn't mean you should go hungry. These engery balls are great on the go and are loaded with protein to help keep you fueled until your busy day is over. They make a great substiute for a high-calorie, high-sugar cookie and are just as sweet and decadent.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup wheat germ or whey protein powder
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • pinch salt
  • chocolate chips or raisins (optional)
  • coconut flakes (optional)

Directions

Mix first seven ingredients together in a bowl, add in raisins or chocolate chips, if desired.


 

Roll to form small balls about 1 inch in diameter.



Roll in coconut flakes, if desired.
