Oven-Roasted Baby Back Ribs

Enjoy eating ribs at home with this simple recipe. Just make sure you ask your butcher to remove the silver skin from the bone side of the rack.

 

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 2 racks baby back ribs

Directions

1. In a small bowl mix sugar, salt, chili powder, and garlic powder and rub all over ribs.

 

2. Wrap ribs in foil and let rest for 30 minutes or overnight.

 

3. Preheat oven to 290°F. Prepare a baking sheet by covering with foil and topping with a wire rack.

 

4. Place ribs on rack bone side up and roast in the oven for 40 minutes. Remove from oven, turn meat side up, brush with a little BBQ sauce, then cover with foil and return ribs to oven and continue baking for another 40 minutes. Serve with the sauce of your choice.
