Tahini or sesame seed paste has a smooth and mild flavor. For an extra punch, mix it with chopped fresh basil leaves and minced fresh garlic cloves along with savory tamari and vinegar for an easy salad dressing anytime. This creamy sauce pairs well in a lunch or dinner salad on the Pegan 365 diet plan.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/8 cup low-sodium tamari
  • 1/8 cup tahini
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1/8 tbsp basil

Directions

1. Combine vinegar, tamari, tahini, garlic, and basil in a blender and blend until smooth.
