Quinoa Bowl

One of Tom Brady and Giselle Bündchen's favorite meals is the quinoa bowl. Cooked quinoa is tossed with wilted greens like Swiss chard, which is high in vitamins A and C and dressed with toasted almonds for extra crunch.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup quinoa, uncooked
  • 4 cups Swiss chard, chopped
  • 2 cups beet greens, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tsp coconut oil
  • shaved almonds, toasted
  • ginger, to taste

Directions

1. Cook quinoa according to package instructions.

 

2. Toast garlic with coconut oil in another pan.

 

2. Add cooked quinoa and the rest of the ingredients to pan and simmer until greens are wilted.
