Recipe for Sauce Made With Carrots and Onions

Ingredients

  • 1 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion chopped
  • 1/2 cup carrot chopped
  • 2 cans of tomato sauce
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tbsp dried basil
  • salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste

Directions

Sauté the beef and onion.
Stir in the tomato sauce, butter and add the oregano, basil, salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste. 
As the sauce is simmering, stir in onions and carrots. 
Cook over low heat until hot.
