Salmon is packed with amino acids, protein, vitamins B12 and D. Oily fish is an important part of a healthy diet as their omega-3 fatty acids contribute to healthy brain and heart function. Monosaturated fats are found in avocados and help lower bad LDL cholesterol.
- 2 avocados, sliced in half
- 5 oz wild-caught salmon, cooked and cut into small chunks
- 1/2 cup lettuce, chopped
- 2 tbsp cilantro, chopped
- 3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 tsp cumin
- salt and pepper to taste
Add all ingredients to a bowl and mix gently by hand. Season with salt and pepper as desired. Spoon mixture into each avocado half.
