In addition to the spicy kick you'll get from the hot peppers in the chili, the capsaicin in the peppers boosts metabolism so your body can produce extra heat and burn more calories.

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 lb lean ground turkey breast
  • 2 15-oz cans kidney beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 28-oz can San Marzano tomatoes, crushed and diced
  • 2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2 bell peppers, diced
  • 1 canned chipotle pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped oregano
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

  • 2 tbsp ground cumin
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
