When you have a leaky gut, your body doesn't produce enough hydrochloric acid, the acid in the gastrointestinal tract that helps break down food. Drinking this turmeric lemonade can help, as it mimics the way hydrochloric acid works and aids in digestion.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup lemon juice
  • 2 tbsp honey
  • 1 1/2 tsp turmeric

Directions

1. Pour water and lemon juice into a small pitcher.

 

2. Stir in honey and turmeric until combined. Chill and enjoy.
