The thought of putting beans in a fruit smoothie may seem strange, but it's actually very delicious. White beans add even more nutrients to this apple and banana smoothie, and they're packed with protein, too!
- 1 1/2 cups kefir or milk
- 1/2 banana
- 1/3 cup white beans
- 1/2 apple
- 2 tbsp oats or oat flour
Blend all ingredients until smooth.
Yields 2 cups.
