Strawberry Pineapple Sorbet


Makes 2 servings

4 slices unsweetened and unsulfured dried pineapple
1/2 cup orange juice
1 (10-oz) bag frozen strawberries
1 cup sliced fresh, organic strawberries (optional)

Soak dried pineapple in orange juice for a few hours or overnight. Chop dried pineapple, add to a high-powered blender along with frozen strawberries, and blend until smooth.

Blend all ingredients, except fresh strawberries, in a high-powered blender.

Pour into sorbet glasses and, if desired, top with sliced, fresh strawberries.
