Ingredients
Makes 18 servings
4 cups Post Original Shredded Wheat Spoon Size Cereal
2 cups popped popcorn
1 cup small pretzels
1 cup mixed nuts
1 packet Italian salad dressing mix
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter or margarine, melted
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Directions
Preheat oven to 300°F. Toss cereal with popcorn, pretzels and nuts in 15x10x1-inch baking pan. Sprinkle evenly with salad dressing mix.
Mix butter, Worcestershire sauce and garlic powder. Drizzle evenly over cereal mixture; toss to coat.
Bake 30-35 minutes or until lightly toasted, stirring after 15 minutes. Cool. Store in tightly covered container at room temperature.
Variation: Substitute peanuts for the mixed nuts. Or, spice things up by adding 1 tsp hot pepper sauce and 1/4 tsp chili powder to the butter mixture before drizzling over cereal mixture.
