Mid-Meal Snack


2 brown rice cakes

2 tbsp almond butter


Take two brown rice cakes and add 1 tbsp of almond butter to each.

Turkey Tacos


8 oz 99% lean turkey meat

1 tbsp low-sodium taco seasoning

2 whole-wheat shells

1/2 cup chopped romaine

1/4 cup chopped avocado

4 tbsp salsa topper

1 tbsp light cheddar

1 tbsp coconut oil


In a skillet with 1 tablespoon of coconut oil covering the entire pan, add ground turkey meat. 

Allow to cook until all the meat has been cooked to 160°F and there are no signs of pink. Add the seasoning and continue to stir until al the seasoning is incorporated.

Once the meat is cooked take shells and add 4 ounces of meat to each shell, top with 1 teaspoon of avocado, 1 ounce of salsa and 1/2 ounce of cheddar for dusting.
