More than half of your body is water, which means making sure you have enough is of real importance. Your body is constantly at work determining how much water you’re losing, through sweat or breathing for example (yes, you lose water in your breath), and how much you need to replace. Fortunately, it’s come up with a great signal for when you need more: thirst. Why and how you’re thirsty you might not know, but when you’re body tells you it needs more water, it’s because it’s doing the math without you noticing.
