With so many things to do and see before your time is up, it can be tempting to push yourself to the limit in the name of fun. But it is actually extremely important for your health to get plenty of sleep while traveling. Sleep allows your body to recover from all it has been through during the day and helps restore your energy so you can start fresh tomorrow. If you know that you need between seven to nine hours of sleep a night in order to feel fully rested, then count backward from when you need to be up in the morning in order to figure out when you should go to bed. Try to eat a light dinner and try not to eat two to three hours before bed so your food has time to fully digest and you can get better quality sleep.
