The Mediterranean diet has long been praised for its heart-healthy benefits and delicious variety of foods. Rachael Ray makes sure to always have plenty of Mediterranean-inspired nutritious and fresh ingredients at the ready so she can create any number of her classic dinner recipes. While we all know she stocks up on extra virgin olive oil, or 'EVOO' as she affectionally calls it, she also has plenty of white beans, canned tomatoes, and farro pasta to pack a dose of fiber and antioxidants into her dishes. She also likes to eat a variety of fresh vegetables that span the color of the rainbow, along with anti-inflammatory rich peppers, digestive aids such as garlic, and lean protein in the form of sardines, anchovies, eggs, and branzino.
