Take the #MyHeartPledge

Hold yourself accountable and improve your heart health today!

Dr. Oz has teamed up with the American Heart Association to create the #myheartpledge. Your heart health is very dependent on your lifestyle habits, and making your habits healthier can improve your heart significantly. Make sure you're getting enough exercise to work out your arteries and get your blood pumping. Try 30 minutes of exercise a day such as walking, jogging, or other forms of cardio that help you break a sweat. Ensure your diet matches your new healthy lifestyle and limit your intake of red meat and fatty foods. Instead, add olive oil, lean protein, and whole grains into your daily diet. Eat fish a least twice a week and a diet high in fruits and vegetables.

Turn your heart health around by pledging to be mindful and accountable for your health and know your risk factors for heart disease. Print out this pledge and team up with your doctor to improve your heart health today and visit the American Heart Association website for more information.
