Looking to get rid of your love handles and belly fat? Don't rely solely on crunches! The back facing crab press from celebrity fitness trainer Tracy Anderson will help you strengthen two commonly neglected areas — your lower back and glutes — and tone your tummy more effectively.
To start, lay face up on a yoga mat and place your hands on your lower back. Gently lift up your hips toward the ceiling and then come down. Roll to the side, stack your hips, and extend your right leg forward. Use the momentum of your leg to come back and stabilize. Press up again with your pelvis toward the ceiling and repeat the move with your left leg. Do three sets of 15 reps on your elbows. For an advanced modification, try the same move but on your hands instead.
