Always be true to that “gut” feeling or your intuition. If you’re asking yourself the same question over and over, chances are you already know the answer and it’s time to take action.


Therapy is a good thing. I have yet to meet the “perfect” person. Therapy isn’t just for people with really big problems; it’s also there to help with the everyday things that life throws at us. Be careful though; therapists are like auto mechanics – there are good ones and bad ones out there. It’s OK to be picky. Find the right one for you. A great old friend taught me that.

It’s OK to say no. Maybe not everyone will like that answer, but we should never overstretch ourselves because taking care of #1 is what’s most important! If you don’t, you won’t be at your best to help others when you can!

Finally in life there will always be good, positive people and there will also be your judgmental, negative people. Do your best to surround yourself with positive people. Always think positive, find the silver lining in those grey clouds, remember that sometimes we do have to go through the bad to get to the really good and that’s OK. 

Also please remember that you catch more bees with honey than you do with vinegar. The more friends you have, the happier you’ll be. The best way to deal with a negative person when you do come in contact with them is to kill them with kindness. This always shocks them!

By doing these things you are being true to yourself and it allows you to work on other areas in your life like eating right, losing weight or maintaining weight loss. You’ll be surprised just how good your life can be by setting yourself free! Enjoy it – you deserve it!
