I Need YOU!

I have had many of you reach out to me to congratulate me on my success, or to ask for pedometer recommendations or personal guidance regarding health and weight loss. I so love to get these emails, as I love to help people.

I have had many of you reach out to me to congratulate me on my success, or to ask for pedometer recommendations or personal guidance regarding health and weight loss. I so love to get these emails, as I love to help people.

One thing that I have noticed is that people often stop checking in because they feel like they are having a hard time being successful. What I will say to that is that I need you! You are a big piece of my success. The same way that you become accountable to me when checking in daily, I feel a sense of accountability to you, as I have to lead by example. I have recently reconnected with my dear friend The Enforcer, Dr. Mike Roizen, and boy does it feel good. He is there for me and I'm here for you. I write today to ask that you to continue to check in, no matter where you are on your journey, because we can get this done together!

Well, enough with the warm and sappy, I also want to share one of my favorite summer recipes that I found and recently shared in our YOU Gals newsletter. It's called Strawberry Granita, and boy, is it refreshing! Of course, in the beginning I had to goggle granita to find out that it means "shaved ice!" But this summer drink is ultra-delish and you must give it a try before summer ends!

Strawberry Granita

Ingredients

1-1/4 cups Water

1 tub strawberry drink mix (ex. Crystal light, Food Lion or Great Value brand)

4 cups frozen unsweetened strawberries

Directions

Blend all ingredients in blender until smooth. Serve immediately. You can use any flavor that you wish to combine with your frozen strawberries, I like Kiwi Strawberry.

I hope that you enjoy! Let me know how it tastes or if you want to reconnect you can reach me at toniwyoudocs@gmail.com. Happy Stepping!
