Dark Chocolate & Sweet Potato Mug Cake

If you're craving dessert, try making this single-serve cake in your  toaster oven. This recipe only has five ingredients, most of which you probably already have in your house already. Enjoy decadent chocolate at the click of the button when you're in need of something sweet.


1/3 cup mashed sweet potato
1 egg
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 1/2 tbsp cocoa powder
a few dark chocolate chips

Combine everything in a mug and stir well.

Bake in your toaster oven at 375°F for about 20 minutes.
