High intensity interval training, also known as HIIT, is a highly effective workout method. Here’s how it works: you do a variety of exercise moves intensely for 30 seconds and then to rest for 10 seconds. This routine gets your heart rate up and your body going. If you want to get healthy and fit without the hassle of the gym, try out some of these exercises.
Pushups can help tone your arms, and when done as part of HIIT training can give you maximum benefits in minimal time. Start with your body propped up by your feet and your hands shoulder-width apart. Push down and bend your arms into a 90 degree angle and then push back up to straighten your arms. If holding your body up is too difficult, drop down to your knees for a modified pushup.
