While it can be nice to indulge in a cocktail or glass of wine every once in while, you should never overdo it. But, if you want to be prepared in case you do, be sure to take the proper precautions before, during, and after you drink alcohol so you never have to experience a bad hangover again. While there is no definitive method (besides not drinking, of course!), you can test out these 11 methods to see which one works best for you.
Load Up on Carbs
Before you head out to the bar, make sure you eat healthy carbs to fill your body up. Try out lean protein like chicken with a nutrient-rich starch like sweet potatoes to nourish your body and prevent the adverse effects of a hangover. Make sure to avoid bad carbs such as fries because greasy foods don’t mix well with alcohol and will leave you feeling sick.
