Deciding to clean up your diet can sometimes feel like having to completely switch out the foods in your pantry. Fortunately, you don’t have to. Here are a variety of foods you probably already have in your kitchen that can help the body detox and give it the boost it needs to stay healthy.

Broccoli

Few people know that broccoli contains huge amounts of vitamin C. One cup has 135% of the amount needed daily. In addition, it’s loaded with B vitamins, which are essential to a variety of the body’s daily functions. The vitamin K seen in high levels in broccoli is also important for your liver’s production of clotting factors for the blood.

Well, if you are overweight, obese or have diabetes you may develop leptin resistance and your "I am full" hormone, leptin, can't do its job. The hormone's signal to your hypothalamus is dampened, and you keep eating.
