From the time you wake up until the time you go to sleep, you encounter a lot of germs. Many places in your kitchen, bathroom, office, as well as items you use every day, can carry bacterium like salmonella and listeria. Find out where these germs are hiding so you can arm yourself with the knowledge and the disinfectant to fight them off.
Light Switches and Doorknobs
Anything a multitude of people touch will have colonies of bacteria on it. Light switches and doorknobs are touched constantly. Sanitize the ones in your home or office on a weekly basis — especially if someone around you is sick. Try to use doorknobs in public places as infrequently as possible by going through revolving doors instead or using a paper towel or jacket sleeve to turn the knob.
